Getting listed on sleightly.com’s directory

I might as well offer this plug about getting listed on the directory to the general blog universe.

If you haven’t already, please check out sleightly.com to see the main directory. On it is a place for anybody to list an item for free. This means that if you have a website, a product, a blog, a forum, a review published somewhere, there are sections available to make a listing for it. You can also submit links to the work of authors or companies that you are a fan of.

Plus, there are plans for more categories coming, including a magician’s registry that will let you have links to your personal website, email, facebook and myspace (although those four links are all optional), as well as a place to put up a notice about any clubs you might belong to or special events that you’re planning.

You don’t have to do this, of course. The wheels have already started turning for getting larger publishers to mass promote their content (I’m in talks with several), and if you’ve checked out the DVD Releases page you’ll see that Big Blind Media has already gotten on board with their catalog, with more companies to come (even if I have to put the dang things up one-at-a-time myself).

That said, there’s no reason not to get in on the action early… unless you’re averse to promoting something for free, that is.
