Here’s an interview with Penn Jillette. A while ago, I used to love Penn and Teller. Then, when I became interested in performing magic and was confronted with the problems of exposure, I hated them. Then, after that, when I got over my own failings and just learned to construct better magic, I grew to like them again. Not quite love (it’s hard to love somebody who slaps you and tells you that you deserve it), but certainly like and respect.
We don’t have enough magicians left alive who’ve broken out of the magic community and established themselves in the public consciousness. Ricky Jay’s done it, David Blaine’s done it, and Penn and Teller have done it. It’s worth reading whatever they have to say. The interview itself is a bit thin, but considering that Penn’s personal blog is hard to get to on Crackle.com, beggars can’t be choosers.

Penn & Teller don’t expose anything. You only think they have.
