Sorry, this one is a couple of days late.
Kent Gunn was so excited about this particular video that he was practically talking in jive. Verbatim, from Kent…
I dig it ’cause . . . Freakin’ Hatch is the schnizzle. German-translatin’ Card College bringin’ to us mac-daddy ‘o magic.
Hatch is the dude. He may be one of magic’s greatest contributors on so many levels.
I’m just sayin’
…and later…
Dude translated Card College for just you and me. Badass physics degreed, multi-language knowin’ badass.
This one’s for you, Kent. Here’s Richard Hatch performing the cups and balls at (I believe?) the Houston Science Museum.
Jamie D. Grant, a Vancouver-based magician and one of the members of the Seymour Street Conjuring Society, has recently taken to adding video reviews for his ongoing weekly Magic Friday column. He’s a very big fan of Dennis Loomis’s routine, and if you click here, you’ll get to see Jamie’s thoughts on the routine, as well as watch his video review. The video is password-protected, but if you’ve been following the blog at all this month you should have no trouble figuring it out.
William Kebler, aka “djkuttdecks” on the Magic Cafe, recently released his offering to the cups and balls community called “Out of Sleight”. It’s been well reviewed on the Magic Cafe, and is available for purchase here. Below is a performance video…
Also, I hadn’t realized it prior to the research that went into the month, but India has been all over the cups and balls plot for the longest time. There’s some good footage that’s come available and as such there’s going to be a day devoted strictly to it.
Finally, working on getting some Mendoza into the next round-up.
Over the hump!
